Here it is! Great Balls of Fire!!! A blast from the videogaming past! Click here -- or the image above -- to download it. (It's a 6.1mb self-extracting zip file.) You need the DivX codec on a PC to watch it! (You want DiVX anyway -- it rocks!) Just go download the free DivX player here, then watch all those old videogames you knew and loved in the 80s. (If you're running a Mac or Linux box, you need to go here instead.) This is the small, "LoRes" (low resolution) version. But all the footage was just shot off the screens of downtown arcades to begin with -- with old-school Beta (original Beta -- the kind that was going head-to-head against VHS at that time) -- so it was grainy anyway. And this digital version was just a capture of a VHS dump of the Beta edit. Anyway... it's low-res, but that shouldn't be a bother -- which you'll find out when you see it! |
